My First Attempt To the left is my first attempt at creating poster art. Overall i managed fairly well with it and am pleased with the poster i have created. The only thing i struggled with was colouring the poster, during the construction of the poster i arranged the layers wrong making it hard for me to bring out the colours without moving the order of the layers around. I am deffinatly going to have another go at this with my own images, hopfully getting the order correct allowing me to colour it in with the large range of differnt brushes.
How I created it
- The first step (once all of the images are uploaded) is to desaturate the images using a histogram.
- Once the images are desaturated, the features on the images need to be burned and dodged, finally to get the poster effect the image is stamped (go to filter>sketch>stamp)
This is as far as i got with my poster, but hopfully with my next attempt i will be able to update and add colour.
